Carex Everest
Carex Everest
Carex ‘Everest’ is a compact, evergreen sedge forming neat, arching tufts of variegated foliage with clean white margins and green centres. Ideal for containers, edging, or the front of a border, it provides year-round texture and structure. Grow in full sun to light shade in Ireland, in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Low-maintenance and reliable, it produces small, unobtrusive flower spikes and typically reaches about 45–50cm in height and spread.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
