BETULA ALBOSINENSIS FASCINATION

BETULA ALBOSINENSIS FASCINATION

BETULA ALBOSINENSIS FASCINATION

Betula albosinensis 'Fascination' is a medium-sized deciduous birch prized for its striking, peeling bark in warm copper to orange tones that reveal paler, creamy patches with age, providing excellent year-round interest. In spring it produces pendant catkins, followed by fresh green leaves that turn yellow in autumn. Grow in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil, ideally neutral to acidic, in full sun or light shade. A superb architectural specimen for Irish gardens, effective as a standalone focal point or planted in groups for dramatic bark display.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
