BETULA ALBOSINENSIS FASCINATION

BETULA ALBOSINENSIS FASCINATION

BETULA ALBOSINENSIS FASCINATION

Betula albosinensis 'Fascination' is a medium-sized, fast-growing deciduous birch prized for its striking, peeling bark in warm coppery-orange and pink tones that flake to reveal creamy layers beneath. In spring it bears slender catkins, and the ovate foliage is mid-green, colouring yellow in autumn. Thriving in full sun or light shade and fertile, moist but well-drained soil (preferably acid to neutral), it makes a superb specimen for year-round architectural interest and seasonal colour.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
