Description: The Japanese elm is a deciduous tree. It can be grown outdoors in summer in full sun or partial shade and brought to the greenhouse or a frost-free place area for the winter.

Light requirement: Bright light including direct sunlight

Water requirement: Moderate to high. Water regularly and do not let the rootball to dry. In other words, keep moist but not soggy as this can cause root rot.

Soil: Well-drained (Bonsai mix)

Feeding: Every week from March to September 

Minimum Temperature: 1°C.
