Windflower (Anemone Hybrida Honorine Jobert)

Windflower (Anemone Hybrida Honorine Jobert)

Windflower (Anemone Hybrida Honorine Jobert)

An elegant, late-summer windflower, Anemone × hybrida ‘Honorine Jobert’ bears single, pure-white flowers with golden-yellow centres on tall, wiry stems above a mound of dark green, divided foliage. A reliable, clump-forming, deciduous perennial for Ireland’s climate, it thrives in sun or light shade in a moisture-retentive, humus‑rich, well-drained, moderately fertile soil, making a superb choice for mixed borders and woodland-style plantings where it can establish and slowly spread. Flowers from late summer into autumn; deadhead to tidy and cut back old stems in late autumn or early spring.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
