Pieris japonica Prelude

Pieris japonica ‘Prelude’ is a compact, slow-growing evergreen forming a low mound of glossy green leaves, and producing elegant drooping clusters of white, lily-of-the-valley‑like flowers in early spring (typically March to April). Best in partial shade and in moist but well-drained, acidic (ericaceous) soil, it’s ideal for small gardens, containers with ericaceous compost, or sheltered woodland-style borders.
