Photinia × fraseri 'Red Robin' is a versatile evergreen tree prized for its glossy foliage and brilliant flushes of red new growth that mature to deep green, bringing colour and structure for much of the year. In spring it can produce clusters of small white flowers, adding seasonal interest. This compact, shaped form is ideal for smart entrances, patios and formal planting, and it responds well to regular clipping to maintain a neat crown. Grow in moderately fertile, moist but well‑drained soil in full sun for the best red colour, or in light shade where it remains a dependable, low‑maintenance structural tree.

This is a standard tree with a clear stem and a shaped crown above. The tree was grown up to this stem height and then pruned to stop the trunk growing taller. The clear stem will remain at the height you receive it at, with future growth coming from the top of the tree.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height.
