LOPHOMYRTUS WHITE TIGER
LOPHOMYRTUS WHITE TIGER
Lophomyrtus ‘White Tiger’ is a neat, evergreen shrub grown primarily for its attractive foliage and tidy outline. In Irish gardens it performs best in a warm, sheltered spot with plenty of sun or light shade, where cold, drying winds are avoided. Small white summer flowers may appear, but the plant is chiefly valued for its year-round foliage effect. Plant in fertile, well‑drained soil, keep evenly moist while establishing, and avoid waterlogging; in colder districts provide winter protection during severe cold.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
