Lavandula ang. Edelweiss

Lavandula ang. Edelweiss

Lavandula ang. Edelweiss

‘Edelweiss’ is a compact evergreen English lavender with aromatic, grey-green foliage and masses of pure white flower spikes in summer. Perfect for edging paths, low informal hedging, containers and sunny borders, its nectar-rich blooms are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, and the stems can be cut fresh or dried. Thrives in full sun and very well-drained, low to moderately fertile soils, especially light or chalky ground; avoid heavy or waterlogged sites. In Ireland, lightly trim after flowering to keep a neat shape, taking care not to cut into old woody stems. Eventual size around 45cm tall by 60cm wide.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
