Ilex crenata 'Jenny' is a compact, evergreen Japanese holly with tiny, glossy green leaves and a naturally tight, pyramidal habit that clips beautifully into cones and other topiary shapes. Ideal for formal designs, low hedging and structural accents, it tolerates regular pruning and shaping. Small white flowers appear in late spring; on female plants, berries may follow if pollinated. Grow in moist but well-drained, fertile, neutral to acidic soil and avoid chalk; suitable for sun or light shade.
