The holly 'Alaska' is an upright, compact, small tree with narrow, evergreen, glossy, deep-green, spiny foliage. In summer it has tiny white, inconspicuous flowers and produces red berries from autumn until early spring. (Female variety, needs a male near by to produce berries)

Position: Full sun to partial shade

Soil: Well-drained, Moist but well-drained

Uses: Architectural, Coastal, Cottage garden, Low maintenance
