Calluna (Summer & Autumn) or Erica (Winter & Spring) depending on the season.

Both are evergreen shrubs native to Ireland and you will often find them growing on the mountain sides around, where the soil is acidic. (Erica x Darleyensis can tolerate neutral soils).

Exposure: Full sun to partial shade

Soil: Moist but well-drained, Acidic
