Halimium lib. April Sun

Halimium lib. April Sun

A compact, sun-loving evergreen shrub grown for its bright yellow, saucer-shaped spring blooms. Best in full sun and very free‑draining soil; it performs well on light sandy or chalky ground and is suitable for mild, coastal settings in Ireland. Avoid heavy or waterlogged soils and protect from winter wet; a warm, sheltered spot helps flowering. Lightly trim after flowering to keep a neat shape, avoiding cuts into old wood.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
