Forsythia int. Goldrausch
Forsythia int. Goldrausch
A reliable deciduous shrub valued for its masses of bright yellow flowers on bare stems in early spring, Forsythia int. ‘Goldrausch’ brings a vivid splash of colour to Irish gardens just as winter recedes. It thrives in full sun or light shade and is undemanding, doing best in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Fast to establish and easy to maintain, it is excellent for early-season impact in mixed borders or as a stand-alone feature, with fresh green foliage following the spring display.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
