Euonymus jap. Microphyl. Aureovar
Euonymus jap. Microphyl. Aureovar
Euonymus jap. Microphyl. Aureovar is a compact, slow-growing evergreen Japanese spindle with very small, glossy leaves marked with bright golden-yellow variegation, forming a neat, bushy mound for year-round structure and colour. Well suited to Irish gardens, it does best in sun or light shade (variegation is brightest with good light) and in well-drained soil, including chalk. Ideal for low edging, small topiary, containers and neat, formal lines; trim lightly to maintain shape. Choose a reasonably sheltered site in exposed locations to protect the foliage from cold, drying winds.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
