Marie Fingleton is a Horticulturist working in our Garden Centre here in Windyridge where she delivers plant training classes to staff every week. She holds formal horticultural qualifications from the Kinsale School of Permaculture and the Botanic Gardens in both Dublin and Ontario, Canada.

Since 2018 she provides evening Gardening classes in Dún Laoghaire Further Education Institute. Marie will demonstrate how to plant up seasonal window boxes and hanging baskets. The session will include tips on how to choose both suitable plants and containers along with techniques to prolong flowering and maximise the enjoyment of your plants. Time will be allocated for a questions and answers session on conclusion of the demonstration.

All proceeds from the ticket sale will be sent to the Irish Red Cross to support their valuable work.
