Clerodendrum bungei

Clerodendrum bungei, commonly called rose glory bower, is a vigorous, suckering deciduous plant valued for its large heart‑shaped green leaves and domed clusters of fragrant, rose‑pink flowers in late summer. Grow in sun or light shade in a moist but well‑drained, moderately fertile soil; a warm, sheltered position is best, and plants may die back in colder areas before reshooting. Excellent for bold, architectural effects in mixed borders; remove unwanted suckers to control spread.
