CHOISYA ternata Sundance (Lich)

CHOISYA ternata Sundance (Lich)

CHOISYA ternata ‘Sundance’ (Lich) is a brightly coloured evergreen shrub valued for its golden-yellow new foliage that matures to yellow-green, forming a dense, rounded bush. In late spring it bears clusters of starry, white, orange-blossom-scented flowers, often with a lighter repeat in late summer to early autumn. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil; best leaf colour develops in full sun, though it also performs well in light shade. Choose a sheltered spot out of cold, drying winds. Ultimately reaches around 2–2.5m in height and spread, making a standout focal shrub or a cheerful addition to mixed borders; trim lightly after flowering to maintain shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
