Brunnera mac. 'Hadspen Cream'

Brunnera mac. Hadspen Cream

Brunnera mac. Hadspen Cream is a clump-forming, shade-loving perennial valued for its heart-shaped leaves edged in creamy variegation and sprays of small sky-blue, forget-me-not-like flowers in spring. Ideal for woodland plantings and shady borders in Ireland, it prefers moisture-retentive, humus-rich yet well-drained soil in partial shade, avoiding hot, dry positions. Forms a neat, slowly spreading groundcover, typically to about 45cm tall and 60cm across; remove faded flower stems and any tired leaves to keep plants looking fresh.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
