Azalea Izum-no-mai is a compact, evergreen Japanese azalea valued for its abundant late spring display and neat, small leaves. Ideal for containers, acid borders and woodland or Japanese-style planting, it thrives in light shade with moist but well‑drained, humus‑rich acidic soil. Grow out of cold, drying winds; minimal pruning is needed other than light deadheading after flowering.
