Achillea Terracotta

Achillea Terracotta

Achillea ‘Terracotta’ is a reliable, clump-forming yarrow valued for its flat, long-lasting flower heads that open rich terracotta-orange and gradually soften to yellow tones above finely divided, aromatic green foliage. Flowering from early to late summer, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, coping well with dry, light or chalky ground. In Ireland, choose a bright, open site with good drainage to avoid winter wet; ideal for sunny borders, gravel or dry gardens, and wildlife-friendly plantings where pollinators visit freely. Removing spent flower heads can help extend the display and keep the plant looking tidy.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
