Paeonia lactiflora is a herbaceous perennial producing large flowers in Summer. 'Sarah Bernhardt' is one of the most popular peony rose. It bears very large (20cm across), fully double, pink flowers which are fragrant.

Position: Full Sun to partial shade

Soil: moist but well-drained

Uses: Cottage garden, Borders and beds, Cut flowers
